How it works

  • Full and final settlement adds up salary for the days worked in the last month, leave encashment, notice pay in lieu, bonus and other earnings, and gratuity if you are eligible; it takes off notice shortfall, advances, other deductions and TDS.
  • Wages due on exit must be paid within two working days (Code on Wages, s.17(2)). Gratuity has its own deadline: within 30 days of becoming payable (Code on Social Security, s.56(3)). See our gratuity calculator for the formula.
  • Provident fund is not paid by the employer with FnF. You claim or transfer it from EPFO yourself.
  • Leave encashment and notice period recovery depend on your appointment letter and company policy, so the calculator lets you choose the basis and the divisor.
